For people who are in the western part of Java Island, certainly no strange to the name of porridge green beans. So true. Porridge with its main ingredient is green beans and black rice. For those of you who do not know, green bean porridge is commonly used as a breakfast menu. This habit for peopl in western Java. If in Central Java, commonly the menu is to serve as a snack ingredients only.


As information, porridge green beans originally came from West Java in Kuningan area. In that society, this green bean porridge mixed with seductive and delicious. Not many people know that the green beans delicious when it served soft. Some people only cook green beans to take its nutrition water. In other words, green beans boiled and they take the boiled water only and let the green beans are still in a state hard. But by traders of Kuningan, eventually this green bean cooked soft once and combined with black rice is melted. The result creates a blend of white coconut milk, green beans and black rice which as we know today.


This porridge is delicious served either when warm or cold. Usually in the mornings, people tend to like warm porridge. If you've entered during the day, usually youngsters prefer coupled with the ice so it must became delicious and fresh.


This green bean porridge is filling. Therefore, people in West Java likes to eat porridge as a breakfast menu. What the heck is contained in green bean porridge is so that Indonesian people loved it very much ?


First, this porridge has the main ingredients of green beans. As we know, green beans contains many variants of nutrition. In the bowl of green bean porridge, we can get vitamin C, A1 and B. In addition, green beans also have fiber. Consumption of green beans in a high amount is good for the digestion. And certainly, the green beans have a high carbohydrate. That's why after eating porridge we will feel full.


Second, in addition to green beans are also black sticky rice in the porridge. Beautiful color blends beautifully with the green and white coconut milk. Makes us want to taste this green bean porridge immediately. Well, the black rice also has a lot of advantages. Such as preventing diabetes, maintaining healthy skin naturally and very useful to nourish the hair. What a very true - a nutritious breakfast yes ..
